Gerrit matriculated from High School Wesvalia (Klerksdorp) in 2011. In 2013 he began his learnership with Sheldon and Prinsloo Incorporated (Louis Trichardt) and obtained the degrees Bachelors of Accounting Sciences (2015) and Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting Sciences (2016) part time through Unisa. In 2018, he qualified as a chartered accountant.
After completing his learnership in 2017, Gerrit joined the firm (previously known as BGR Jacobs Griessel Incorporated) as an audit manager and in 2021 he was appointed as director of the firm, now known as BGR Nortjé Incorporated.
Micheline Dalton

We are proud to announce the appointment of Micheline Dalton CA(SA), RA as Director, effective 1 January 2026. Her appointment strengthens our commitment to excellence and professional service to our clients.
Micheline Dalton obtained her BAcc and BAccHons degrees from Stellenbosch University in 2011. She completed her articles at BGR Jacobs Griessel Auditors Inc. She has been registered as a Chartered Accountant since 2015 and serves as Audit Manager – initially at BGR Jacobs Griessel Auditors Inc., and later at BGR Nortjé Inc.
Micheline plays an active role in audit quality, staff development and the training of SAICA candidates, and was also responsible for strategic planning within the audit department.
With her expertise, dedication and fresh perspectives, we look forward to the valuable contributions she will make to BGR.
